Hey class,
After taking the VARK Questionnaire I have a multimodal strategy learning style. This means that I just don’t learn in just one way. “If you have multiple preferences you are in the majority as somewhere between fifty and seventy percent of any population seems to fit into that group.” (VARK, n.d.) I am attracted to things that have more photos, diagrams and graphs. Other strategies that appeal to my learning style is pretty much anything that doesn’t involve reading. I have never enjoyed reading because I wasn’t good at it as a child and was made fun of for it. If there is an audiobook verson of the reading, then I would be more appt to listen to it because I then don’t have to read it. I would be much more appealed to a health education plan that had pictures, videos, talking, and bright colors.

According to the VARK model, Learners are identified by whether they have a preference, Such as Visual learning pictures, movies, diagrams, while Auditory learning is music, discussion, lectures. reading and writing making lists, reading textbooks, taking notes are all important. While Kinesthetic learning is movement, experiments hands-on activities, etc., I am a visual learning type of category’ such as Effective teaching strategies for the classroom. 1)Visualization. Bring dull academic concepts to life with visual and practical learning experiences, helping your student to understand how schooling applies in the real world. 2) Cooperative learning. solving mathematical Puzzles, conducting scientific experiments, and acting out short drama sketches are few examples; of how cooperative learning can be incorporated into classroom lessons. 3) Inquiry-based instruction. Encouraging students to ask questions.

Hello Professor and Class,
At the end of my VARK questionnaire, I have a learning preference for the multimodal (AK) style. This tells me that I can learn in several different ways. Am in the eighty percent of the people of one group of things. Therefore, I love listening, discussing, practical exercises ”hands-on”, is the best learning system for me. As for me, reading was never my best way of learning. I couldn’t see or pictured the storyline or understand the lesson of the story. I will better understand if the story was read to me, it will be best for me to incorporate it into a health education plan that appeals to my style is by listening, talking, discussing, practical exercise, and photos.

My learning style after taking the VARK questionnaire is visual learning. My visual learning score was a nine. My second highest score was Aural which is listening and speaking. Visual learning means I use diagram and written stuff in order to learn better. Reading and writing is a good learning strategy that needs to be incorporated into a health education plan. Topic overview is also very beneficial. Taking noted and highlighting the main phrases and words will also help a lot. Using different colored pens to write down the notes will help a lot. Every week I have a goal to finish all my work according to that day. Writing everything down and sticking to that plan does help a lot. Learning from a study guide and writing the question and answer down on another piece of paper also helps. Having small lecture videos and power points will be helpful. Overall all the strategies for the visual learning style will help me now and throughout my career.

Different strategies that would be incorporated into a health education plan to appeal my learning style would be reading the assigned readings for that week and underlining and highlighting the important sentences and paragraph. Another one would be reading the topic reviews and underlining the key concept. Reading through each diagram and maps or charts will also help a lot. Color coordinating each notes or color coordinating the reading portions will be beneficial. Watching lecture videos and writing notes down is another good strategy. Planning my week ahead and writing everything down in my agenda will help me prepare for that week. anther learning strategy is reading aloud my notes and reading. Reading aloud will help me underatsnd and grasp all the information faster. Also reading aloud to a friend or family member will help me notice any grammar mistakes especially when it comes to essays. When I have a quiz coming up having another person reading the questions and answer will help you understand it better.
