· Prepare an exploratory scenario for 2050. Review the main issues presented in the Living Planet Report (2020) . Develop an exploratory scenario about biodiversity in 2050. Guiding questions for your scenario:
1. What current critical issues which will impact biodiversity in the decade beginning 2050 are you considering in your scenario?
2. What assumptions are you making in this scenario?
3. Describe your scenario considering:
· realistic expectations of goals and results arising from governmental, organizational and individual actions
· potential outcomes of specific environmental strategies that are currently under consideration
· current and potential challenges that might hinder the implementation of such strategies
4. Make one recommendation of an initiative that needs to be taken by the public and private sector and individuals for this scenario
· Contextual information:
· Draw on cases and/or theories covered during this course and/or which you learned about through your independent study.
· In the Living Planet Report (2020) you will find examples of scenarios from page 116-125.

It assesses the following learning outcomes:
